"You have always been there for us, to guide us through the maze."

Hi Toni,

I know you’re working on updating your website, but I wanted to share our testimonial of how much you have helped my wife and I with both Social Security and Medicare.  Please feel free to post this in your “What People Are Saying…..”

We started planning for our retirement several years ago, and learned about your Social Security seminar that you hold at Sugar Creek Baptist Church.  We’ve attended your seminar every year since, and always learned to better understand the in’s and out’s of Social Security and Medicare.  All that planning paid off when it finally became time for us to initially file for Social Security, and last year for Medicare.  We soon found out that when it came to Medicare Medi-Gap insurance and prescription services, you always looked out for what was best for us.

But as with anything you do for the first time, there was a lot of worrying that we had overlooked a minor detail that would live with us the rest of our retirement.  We had watched our parents manage to barely get by with their Social Security benefits and struggled with the changes in medical care as they began their lives with Medicare.

But you have always been there for us, to guide us through the maze.  I saw where someone recently said you’re the Zen Master of Medicare, and you are.  And even when we’d completed the forms correctly and we just needed your assurance that we’d done it right, you were always there.  Almost like the woobie blanket from Mr. Mom.”

“Thank you so much!”

"We highly recommend utilizing the services of Toni King."

“We highly recommend utilizing the services of Toni King.  She listens carefully, provides sound guidance and explains the details of Medicare Supplemental Insurance plans in a clear fashion.  She is also a pleasure with whom to work.

After reviewing the material from one of Toni’s “Confused About Medicare” seminars that I attended in 2013 and doing a bit of my own research, I became concerned about the guidance regarding Medicare Supplemental Insurance that was being provided to me by the brokerage firm that had been engaged by my company.  The representative with whom I was working just did not seem to understand or appreciate the nuances associated with enrolling a person, such as my spouse, with medical issues who had had Part B in effect for many years.

I contacted Toni and got an immediate response.  She completely understood the situation and gave sound advice as to how we should proceed.   I would like to point out that Toni provided this guidance believing that we would be enrolling through my company-engaged brokerage firm.

Since I did not have a high degree of confidence in how my company-engaged representative would handle our special situation, I made an appointment with Toni to enroll both of us.   Prior to our appointment, I did a bit of research on my own and thought I had found the best plan for myself, but this was not the case and my particular situation was rather typical.

It really does take an expert, such as Toni, to provide additional clarity to make an informed decision.”

"You’re the zen master of Medicare in the Houston area!!"

Hi Toni,

Thanks for the ebook. I had sent you an email earlier to an address (toni@tonisays.com) that my oldest friend, Steve P, had given me. He consulted with you about entering the Medicare maze, and suggested I get in touch. My 65th birthday is Aug. 5. I did a little checking and jeez, you’re the zen master of Medicare in the Houston area!!

I live in Austin currently, but travel to Houston regularly. Steve said you did do some individual client consulting, so if that is possible, I would like to visit with you.”

Best regards,

"I can assure you that without your knowledge and expertise, I would have been lost..."

Dear Toni:

I am writing this letter to thank you for all you help to me when I was searching for an insurance company to replace my old policy that had been dropped by my doctor’s office.

In order to continue to use my doctor, I had no choice but to find another insurance company that my doctor would accept.

I can assure you that without your knowledge and expertise, I would have been lost in finding an insurance company that had the benefits that I needed. Again, I want to thank you for your advice and guidance and to let you know how pleased I am with my new insurance company.”

Very truly yours,

"Thank you for meeting with me and helping me maneuver through the Medicare Maze."

“Thank you for meeting with me and helping me maneuver through the Medicare Maze. You enlightened me about the possible pitfalls that could cost me some serious money and I appreciate that very much. It is refreshing to meet an insurance agent who is looking out for his/her customers, instead of their own pocketbooks. Keep up the good work as you continue to help many others out there like me.

Best wishes,

Al J.  “Keep up the good work”

"Toni, Thank you for taking time to answer my specific questions regarding Medicare."

“Toni, Thank you for taking time to answer my specific questions regarding Medicare. I have a background in HR with many years spent as an employee benefits administrator, but the issues surrounding Medicare and Medicare supplements was very confusing. Your seminar in Sugar Land was incredibly helpful and I really thank God that I found out about the seminar just in the nick of time. I feel now as if I’m able to make informed decisions and the Medicare mystery (leading to anxiety) has disappeared. Thank you also for your willingness to continue to help all of us as additional questions and concerns arise.

Best Regards,

MaryThank you for taking time to answer my specific questions regarding Medicare.”

"I am sorry I did not get your book two years ago"

Toni

I was the one just talking to you. I was employed until July of 2009 at which time I was laid off. I was at that time 68 and did not think I needed schedule B until my insurance ran out which will be the end of this month, After applying for the Part B I was informed I would be penalized back to the time I turned 65 and that I would have to wait until Jan 2011 to apply and not take effect until July. I am sorry I did not get your book two years ago.

Thanks for the advice.

"My husband and I enjoyed the workshop very much"

“My husband and I enjoyed the workshop very much and had some questions answered. We are going to change back to Medicare. We had changed to Humana Advantage last year. It was fine for him, but not for me. Continuing with the meds I was on (and doing well!) was not acceptable to HA and they wanted me to start with lower tiers and then work up to where I was when joining. I got so frustrated I just quit taking them all except for one. Not a smart thing to do I know but I seem to have done fine. Anyway, we are both going back to Medicare and thank you and Toni for making it so clear.
