My husband was receiving his social security benefits and unemployment. Based on this I was not able to collect Benefits bassed on what he was getting. They said it was because I did not pay into social security to be able to collect anything. My husband passed away in June . At this point I am working on trying widow spousal support. I’m still waiting . They told me I did qualify but have not gotten a letter or anything yet. Any advise you can give me?

I am covered under her insurance. I just ordered your book and CD to get started in the conversion process. We both are 72 and 73 years old and will go to Medicare with the TRS provided supplement. What needs to be done before she retires.
